Please be Wrong

Posted by Simon Halliday | Saturday, September 13, 2008 | Category: |

I am seriously hoping that InTrade is wrong. More than 50% chance that McCain will be president of the US? Please, please no.

  1. I don't think McCain is that bad... I mean, he's bad but he'll still be an improvement over Bush. Palin, however, is just horrendously bad. With her on the ticket, it's dangerous for McCain to win...

For better polling info, by the way, check out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_United_States_presidential_election,_2008

  2. Um... Well, we can agree to disagree there. The main problem for me is that if McCain gets in the odds are 1 in 5 that he'll die, which means that an unelected creationist, anti-choice, secessionist, dimwit liar could be the president of the US. Hmm... Not such a good thing in my mind, i.e. yes Palin is crazy, crazy bad.

  3. If you would like an American opinion. I think McCain is terrible and it's dangerous to think that his policies are different than Bush or that we would have a different political climate than we do right now. I can't imagine having him as my president for 8 years. And I pray everyday that I won't have to.
